Regular wool is often associated with stiffness and a slight itch, simply because its fibers are coarser. Merino wool is the complete opposite. Its fibers are exceptionally fine, allowing them to bend easily and feel soft and smooth against the skin.

What makes merino wool truly special is the natural “spring” in its fibers. This fine curl allows a sock to return to it original shape, even after many washes.

While cotton can lose its structure over time and synthetic fabrics often lose their flexibility, merino remains pleasantly stable and resilient.
